The Mystic Arts Gallery features 20 artists with a wide range of mediums – including: photography, paintings, pottery, textiles, jewelry, mixed media, and more.

The gallery sponsors events, classes, workshops, and fundraisers, as well as a monthly Art Walk event, featuring a local Guest artist, and live entertainment and refreshments.

The original “Mystic Arts World” opened its doors in 1967 as a sort of sub-culture shopping mall. Inspired by the seven Chakras of Kundalini Yoga, the hip counterculture’s floor plan included art, clothing, jewelry, health food, a book store, and a meditation room.

On June 6, 1970, the popular gathering place mysteriously burned down. Now, more than four decades later, the name “Mystic Arts” has emerged from the ashes, this time as an artist’s co-op, blending the new with the vibe of “60’s Laguna Beach.
